Despite the number of injuries that have taken place, UFC 130 promises to have a good show in the making. UFC 130 is scheduled to take place on May 28 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
All told, there will be a 10-fight event, featuring a main event of Quinton Jackson going up against Matt Hamill in a light heavyweight bout while the co-main event will feature a heavyweight fight including Frank Mir taking on Roy Nelson.
Jackson’s last action inside the Octagon took place at UFC 123 back in November when he earned a controversial split decision win over Lyoto Machida; he is sporting a 6-2 mark in the UFC.
Meanwhile, Hamill brings a five-bout winning streak into what is arguably his biggest bout of his career. His last action within the Octagon was at UFC 121 back in October 2010, when he scored a unanimous decision over Tito Ortiz.
