A non-title matchup between Strikeforce light heavyweight champ Dan Henderson and Fedor Emelianenko is official to headline a July 30 Strikeforce event near Chicago that will air on Showtime, CEO Scott Coker announced Saturday ahead of UFC 130.

The 220-pound catchweight bout has been in the works since shortly after Henderson (27-8) claimed the 205-pound title from Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante in March and was rumored to mark Strikeforce’s pay-per-view debut before being purchased by the UFC.

Emelianenko (31-3) is looking to snap a two-fight losing streak after the former top-ranked heavyweight suffered losses to Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Silva to snap his 10-year unbeaten streak.

The July 30 Strikeforce fight card is also rumored to include Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Roger Gracie, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante vs. Ovince St. Preux, and Tarec Saffiedine vs. Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos.
