If you haven’t signed up yet to get free paid apps for your android phone or tablet at amazon, you might want to consider doing so. I have purchased about 80 paid but free apps so far. The last two free paid apps are normally $10 a piece. Are they worth it or not just depends how useful they are to you.
Today’s app is the Gaia GPS appllication.
Product Features:
Download maps for your off-road (or on-road) adventures
Title and notate saved maps, and flag locations as wayppoints
Record your tracks to duplicate later, or find your way back
Navigate using the built in compass, distance, bearing, and ETA support
Choose the units for coordinates and measurement
The previous $10 app was the Cardio Trainer Pro. It is basically a health activity app. When you first open the app, the green Start Workout tab invites you to get moving. CardioTrainer Pro’s auto-mapping feature automatically tracks where you are, along with the day and time your workout begins. CardioTrainer Pro prompts you to select the kind of workout you’re doing. The list includes running, biking, aerobics, and racquetball among more than 40 entries. You can select Custom if your workout isn’t on the list.
It isn’t free right now since it was yesterday but it may be free again in the next 365 days. You never know, right?
