UFC 134: Mike Swick Returns Against Newcomer Erick Silva on Aug. 27 in Rio
Welterweight Mike Swick will return to action for the first time in a year-and-a-half when he welcomes Brazilian Erick Silva to the Octagon at UFC 134 on August 27 in Rio de Janeiro. UFC 134 is headlined by middleweight champion Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami and also includes Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Forrest Griffin and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub.

Welterweight Mike Swick will return to action for the first time in a year-and-a-half when he welcomes Brazilian Erick Silva to the Octagon at UFC 134 on August 27 in Rio de Janeiro, according to Sherdog.

Swick (14-4) hasn’t fought since dropping his second-straight loss to Paulo Thiago in Feb. 2010 as he battled stomach issues, while Silva (12-1) has fought exclusively in Brazil while improving to 12-1 with a pair of October wins.

UFC 134 is headlined by middleweight champion Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami and also includes a rematch between former champs Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Forrest Griffin as well as Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub.
