Two bouts have been added to the Strikeforce Challengers 12 event as Jan Finney will take on Liz Carmouche along with a lightweight tilt between Caros Fodor and Derek Getzel.
Strikeforce Challengers 12 is scheduled to take place on November 19 from the Jackson Convention Center in Jackson, MS.
Finney is returning to the cage since her last fight, one in which she was TKO’d by Cristiane Santos back in June while Carmouche has hit the MMA scene with four victories, the most recent being a TKO win over Valentina Shevchenko in a regional bout.
Fodor, after winning five of his last 6 bouts, made his debut at Strikeforce and earned a unanimous decision win over Ousmane Thomas Disgne at Strikeforce Challengers 9 while Getzel turned pro a little over year ago. During that span, he has sported a 2-1 record – the last two bouts being first-round victories.
With the addition of these two bouts, Strikeforce Challengers 12 is as follows:
- Caros Fodor vs. Derek Getzel
- Liz Carmouche vs. Jan Finney
- Antwain Britt vs. Ovince St. Preux
- Vitor Ribeiro vs. Justin Wilcox
