Dustin Poirier has stepped in for injured UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo and will face 145-pound contender Josh Grispi at UFC 125 on January 1 in Las Vegas. Chris Leben vs. Brian Stann will now co-headline the pay-per-view and Thiago Silva vs. Brandon Vera will shift to the main card.
Dustin Poirier (8-1) has stepped in for injured UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo and will face 145-pound contender Josh Grispi (14-1) at UFC 125 on January 1 in Las Vegas, according to Heavy.
With Grispi-Poirier expected to move down to the UFC 125 preliminary card, Chris Leben vs. Brian Stann will co-headline the pay-per-view and Thiago Silva vs. Brandon Vera will shift to the main card.
The UFC 125 fight card is headlined by a rematch between lightweight champ Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard and also includes Takanori Gomi vs. Clay Guida and Nate Diaz vs. Dong Hyun Kim.
