Former football standout Herschel Walker will return to MMA action against Scott Carson in a heavyweight matchup on the Showtime-televised main card at "Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu" on Dec. 4 in St. Louis
The 48-year-old Heisman Trophy winner and two-time NFL Pro Bowler Walker (1-0) made his MMA debut in January with a third-round TKO of relative unknown Greg Nagy, while Carson (4-1) ended a nine-year layoff in suffering a first-round KO in June for his first career loss.
The Strikeforce Dec. 4 fight card is headlined by a rematch between veterans Dan Henderson and Renato “Babalu” Sobral.
