Fresh off earning the "Submission of the Night" at UFC 121, Daniel Roberts is expected to meet Greg Soto in a welterweight bout on the preliminary card of "UFC 125: Resolution" on New Year's Day in Las Vegas.
Roberts (11-1) has improved to 2-1 in the UFC with back-to-back wins over Forrest Petz and Mike Guymon, while Soto (8-1) bounced back from his first career loss by topping Nick Osipczak in August.
The UFC 125 fight card is headlined by a rematch between lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard and also features featherweight champ Jose Aldo vs. Josh Grispi.
