A bantamweight battle between "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung and former WEC challenger Rani Yahya is in the works for the preliminary card of UFC Fight for the Troops 2 on January 22 at Fort Hood, Texas.
Both 135-pounders are coming off back-to-back losses and could be fighting for their UFC futures, as Jung (10-3) impressed in dropping a decision to Leonard Garcia in a “Fight of the Year” contender before suffering a head kick KO to George Roop in September, while Yahya (15-6) fell to Joseph Benavidez and Takeya Mizugaki following three-straight wins.
The Spike-televised UFC Fight for the Troops 2 fight card is headlined by Kenny Florian vs. Evan Dunham and also features Pat Barry vs. Joey Beltran.
