For you fight fans that didn’t know, ProElite is set to rise like a Phoenix from the ashes. After disappearing from the mixed martial arts landscape for the last couple of years, the company is now under Stratus Media Group’s ownership and will make its return August 27th inside the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
“It’s exciting to have the MMA community on the edge of their seats awaiting the next ProElite news,” stated Stratus president Paul Feller. “I am confident that MMA fans will not be disappointed with the matchups.”
The card will feature a slew of former UFC stars. Headlining the show is a heavyweight scrap between Andrei Arlovski and Ray Lopez. Octagon veterans Kendall Grove and Joe Riggs will meet in the card’s co-featured contest.
Tickets for the event can be purchased now at ticketmaster.com. General seating ranges between $28 and $90, with cage side seats going for $150 and $200.
“ProElite: Arlovski vs. Lopez” is not expected to air live on television or tape-delay.
