Green Replaces Beerbohm Against ‘JZ’ Cavalcante at Strikeforce: Fedor vs Henderson
Next week's Strikeforce: Fedor vs Henderson fight card has undergone a change as Bobby Green (15-4) has been tapped to replace Lyle Beerbohm in the event’s featured preliminary bout against Gesias “JZ†Cavalcante (15-4-1, 2 NC). The July 30 event is headlined by Fedor Emelianenko vs. Dan Henderson.
No reason was given for Beerbohm’s removal from the card. News of the change was first reported by MMAJunkie.
Green is a former King of The Cage champion who holds wins over Sevak Magakian and Charles Bennett. The recent Strikeforce signee was previously scheduled to face Milton Vieira at Strikeforce Challengers 18.
