So are you worried now that we are only 10 days away from raising the debt ceiling deadline? Should you be worried? Personally, I am not worried even if there are real negative consequences which will mostly be psychological from all the scare tactics both democrats and republicans are using. This is simply a repeat of the bull crap weapons of mass destruction, bull crap wall street bailout, and bull crap stimulus spending. All of that fear they fanned to the American public worked, and later we found out they lied to us over and over and over again.
Will it work again this time. Probably since most Americans are sheeple and can’t think for themselves. I know this because through all those other times when I spoke with friends, family and relatives, they would simply repeat the rhetoric the politicians would say in the media. And the media would simply repeat what the politicians said over and over. Almost repeated in a brain washing sort of way.
The truth is no one knows what will happen if the debt ceiling isn’t passed by the deadline. Plain and simple. Everyone has a theory including me. In the past, all the financial experts and analysts were wrong about the housing market going only up, the housing bust ever happening, and the recession ever coming. I was right and they were wrong. I saw it all and read what other bloggers were saying. I sold all my stocks before the correction in 2007 and side stepped the 50-60% drop. I also bought gold and silver etfs in 2010.
Maybe the best thing to do is just do the opposite of what the experts advise you to do. Kind of like George Costanza.
