Cain Velasqeuz vs. Junior dos Santos Betting Odds

UFC Heavyweight Champ Cain Velasquez

Cain Velasquez is only four days removed from steamrolling Brock Lesnar at UFC 121 to capture the heavyweight crown and Octagon brass haven’t even officially announced his first title defense against Junior dos Santos, but that hasn’t stopped the Gambling Gods from dropping in with their two-cents on the matter.

Although dos Santos dons an impressive 12-1 record, with 11 wins coming via devastating finish, the powers that be profess his inferior wrestling will be the death of him. Despite his Brazilian jiu jitsu brown belt status, “Cigano” is expected to get carved up on the canvas.

The challenger opens as nearly a 2-to-1 underdog.

Since manhandling “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” Velasquez has rightfully emerged as the sport’s newest flavor of the month. He owns a perfect 9-0 record, in addition to the bling-bling belt. The reigning 265-pound king has ended all but one of his scraps before the final horn has sounded.

No word from the UFC on when Cain will break-in his newly minted title against the blazin’ Brazilian.

Here is the early betting line (Courtesy of Bodog.com):

Cain Velasquez -250

Junior “Cigano” dos Santos +190
