Five fighters from Sunday’s UFC on Versus 4 event in Pittsburgh have been issued medical suspensions by the Pennsylvania athletic commission, including headliner Pat Barry, who rocked Cheick Kongo in the opening round only to be knocked out cold moments later.
Barry was suspended 60 days along with Christian Morecraft and Nik Lentz, who suffered a knockout loss and illegal knee respectively, while Matt Grice was sidelined 45 days and Edward Faaloloto was suspended 30 days for their losses.
UFC on Versus 4 drew a respectable 744,000 viewers despite losing scheduled headliner Nate Marquardt the day before the event, but came up short of the 793,000 who tuned in for a replay of “UFC Fight Night 22: Marquardt vs. Palhares” in the same timeslot on Spike.
