Another fight has been added to UFC 133 as welterweights Dennis Hallman and Brian Ebersole, according to UF cexecutives have confirmed the bout and pairing.
UFC 133, while not yet announced by the promotion, is expected to take place on August 6 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, with the main card available via pay-per-view.
It is likely that Hallman and Ebersole wil be a part of the event’s preliminary card.
Hallman, a 14-year MMA veteran, is looking to add to a current two-fight win streak. He reobunded nicely from a last-replacement loss to John Howard late in 2009 with recent wins over Ben Saunders and Karo Parisyan; subsequently, Saunders and Parisyan were released by the UFC.
Meanwhile, Ebersole returns after an impressive win over Chris Lytle back in February at UFC 127 and is currently sporting an eight-fight win streak.
With the addition of Hallman and Ebersole, UFC 133 is as follows:
- Riki Fukuda vs. Rafael Natal*
- Brian Ebersole vs. Dennis Hallman
- Michael McDonald vs. Nick Pace
- Jorge Rivera vs. Alessio Sakara
- Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Vitor Belfort
