Which is the best value: Apple iPads 2 vs Google tablets? If you are looking to spend $500 plus tax on one of these gadgets, then you have to figure out which is the best value. The things I would consider are hardware, software, and personal use of the device.
Hardware:
The iPad 2 comes in a 9.7″ display while the android tablets range from 7″ to 10″. The smaller size may make it more convenient to carry around, but the larger displays make it easier to view on the eye. Inside the iPad comes a 1 GHz dual-core Apple A5 custom-designed processor. Of course with the different google tablets there are too many to name what processor is inside. For example purposes I will use what is inside the Motorola Xoom which is an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core mobile processor. I can not make any determination which dual core chips are faster. Both iPads and tablets have dual cameras on the front and back.
