UFC on Versus 3 Medical Suspensions: Sanchez, Kampmann Among Five Suspended
Medical suspensions have been handed down from Thursday's UFC on Versus 3 event in Louisville, with headliners Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann sidelined indefinitely.CB Dollaway, Thiago Tavares, and Todd Brown were also suspended 60 days after suffering knockout losses.
Sanchez edged Kampmann in a three-round “Fight of the Night” that left both fighters bloodied and bruised.
Sanchez must have his left orbital cleared before returning to the Octagon, while Kampmann must have his right hand cleared, which he’s said is swollen but not broken.
CB Dollaway, Thiago Tavares, and Todd Brown were also suspended 60 days after suffering knockout losses at the event.
