Bellator 38 Draws Season Low Ratings, Averages Just 150,000 Viewers
This past weekend's Bellator 38 event scored the lowest ratings of the promotion's fourth season, averaging just 150,000 viewers for the telecast that aired live on MTV2.The event featured the quarterfinal round of this season's light heavyweight tournament.

MMA Junkie confirmed the ratings earlier today.

The event featured the quarterfinal round of this season’s light heavyweight tournament. Tim Carpenter, D.J. Linderman, Richard Hale and Christian M’Pumbu all picked up wins at the event.

The rating marks the lowest rated episode of the season’ first four broadcasts which debuted back on March 5 with Bellator 35.

That event scored 200,000 average viewers. The next week’s telecast increased to a season high 230,000 viewers before decreasing in the third week with just 173,000 viewers.

Bellator 38 aired at 7pm ET in order to avoid competition from UFC Fight Night 24, which aired live on SpikeTV at 10pm ET. The UFC also streamed five preliminary fights on Facebook beginning at 7:30pm.
