Because Willamy Freire suffered an injury whcih forced him off of the UFC on Versus 2 event, Thiago Tavares will be without an opponent for the August 1 affair.
A source close to Tavares has confirmed that a replacement opponent could not be found; therefore, Tavares has been pulled off the fight card and will be moved to a future card.
With the absence of Freire and Tavares, the UFC on Versus 2 fight card is as follows:
