Georges St-Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck Set for UFC 123 on December 11
UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will defend the 170-pound title in a rematch against opposing Ultimate Fighter 12 coach Josh Koscheck on December 11, a pay-per-view event which is expected to be UFC 123.
“Can’t wait until TUF 12 airs in September, and oh yeah did you guys know that I am going to be the next welterweight champion come December 11th,” Koscheck announced on Twitter overnight.
MMAFrenzy.com previously reported that Toronto and Pittsburgh were under consideration to host the event, but now appear unlikely as Toronto has yet to legalize mixed martial arts, while Pittsburgh’s CONSOL Energy Center is booked with a pair of NCAA basketball games.
