The UFC has just announced that an undercard bout pitting T.J. Grant with Charlie Brenneman is no longer taking place at UFC Live: Marquardt vs. Story. According to the report, Grant is ill and unable to fight. Due to the timing of the cancellation, a replacement for Grant will not be considered.

According to the report, Grant is ill and unable to fight this Sunday. Due to the timing of the cancellation, a replacement for Grant will not be considered.

Brenneman was looking to make his local UFC debut in his home state of Pennsylvania. He is a native of Hollidaysburg, just over an hour from Pittsburgh. The winner of Spike TV’s reality game show Pros vs. Joes, Brenneman currently holds a record of 2-1 in his UFC career.

T.J. Grant was originally expected to fight another Pennsylvania native, Matthew Riddle, before Riddle pulled out of the fight due to injury.

With a main card featuring four fights, the preliminary card will now be cut down to seven matches, all of which will be streamed live on Facebook.
