Although confirmation has not been happened prior to this posting, it appears very likely that Scott Jorgensen will take on Brad Pickett in a 135-pound bout at WEC 50. Assuming that the two do meet, the bout will be part of the event’s main card that will be televised on Versus.
WEC 50 is scheduled to take place on August 18 from The Pearl at the Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, NV.
Jorgensen brings to WEC 50 a four-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision win over Antonio Banuelos at WEC 49 in April. Meanwhile, Pickett debuted with the WEC back in late 2009, having won a pair of bouts from Kyle Dietz and Demetrious Johnson; he is sporting a current nine-bout win streak.
