UFC welterweight contender Jon Fitch talks about his plans to move up to middleweight should teammate Josh Koscheck defeat Georges St-Pierre in December to win the 170-pound title: "To me there's no reason to fight a teammate. It's not a fight we're interested in at all. It's a situation where, if Koscheck is able to win the belt and defend the belt, I'll move up to 185."
UFC welterweight contender Jon Fitch talks to Showdown Joe about his plans to move up to middleweight should teammate Josh Koscheck defeat Georges St-Pierre in December to win the 170-pound title:

I have a good size frame. I could put on 15 pounds. I might take a month off to put on some weight, but it’s a tall order to beat Georges and defend the belt. That process would take a year from now, and I’ll have fought every other welterweight worth fighting by that time so it’d almost be time to move up anyways.”
