I used to be a registered democrat and hold many of their ideals, but the democratic politicians have simply failed us and their commitment to getting things done for the best interest of the american people. That is why I changed my party affiliation to independent. Yes, I changed to a registered independent and not republican because most of their beliefs I don’t agree with.
There is only a few republicans I like. Ron Paul is one of them because he has independent ideas and keeps things simple by making his decisions based on how it would be interpreted under the US Constitution. Not only that, he has been preaching the same stuff ever since he has been in office and has stayed consistent in his views, values and ideas and doesn’t get swayed with what is popular out there.
