The Ultimate Fighter 12 winner Jonathan Brookins is expected to face undefeated lightweight John Makdessi at UFC 129, while TUF 9 champ James Wilks is slated to meet welterweight prospect Rory MacDonald at the April 30 event in Toronto, according to Sportsnet.
Brookins (12-3) won TUF 12 in December with a decision win over Michael Johnson, while Makdessi (8-0) topped Pat Audinwood in his UFC debut last month at UFC 124.
MacDonald (10-1) and Wilks (7-4) will be looking to avoid back-to-back losses, as MacDonald suffered a third-round TKO to Carlos Condit in June and Wilks was topped by Claude Patrick in October.
The UFC 129 fight card is headlined by welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre vs. Jake Shields and is also expected to include Randy Couture vs. Lyoto Machida.
