Instead of a planned matchup with former champ Frank Mir, Brendan Schaub will face fellow heavyweight prospect Stefan Struve at UFC on Versus 3 on March 3 in Louisville, according to Showdown Joe.
Schaub (7-1) topped Gabriel Gonzaga in October for his third-straight UFC win after coming up short against Roy Nelson in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 10 and quickly called out Mir after the victory.
Struve (21-4) stopped Sean McCorkle in the UFC 124 co-main event earlier this month for his second-straight win and fifth in six fights.
