Although it is very early on, it appears that a bout has been scheduled for UFC Fight Night 23 as according to DaMarques Johnson at his website, he will take on Mike Guymon in a welterweight fight at the event.
UFC Fight Night 23 is scheduled to take place on January 22 at Fort Hood, TX, and will more than likely be televised on Spike TV.
Guymon is currently 1-2 during his tenure with the UFC, with his most recent action being a submission loss to Daniel Roberts at UFC 121 earlier this month.
Johnson is much like Guymon as this may be a win-or-else situation for him. His most recent fight was a second-round TKO loss to Matt Riddle at UFC on Versus 2.
With the likelihood of Guymon and Johnson facing each other in the Octagon, the UFC Fight Night 23 event looks like this:
