After surprisingly letting go of heavyweight prospect Todd Duffee and Ultimate Fighter 8 winner Efrain Escudero, the UFC has made more expected cuts by releasing Tomasz Drwal, John Gunderson, and Rodney Wallace following recent losses.
Drwal (17-4) and Gunderson (23-8) were dropped after losing to Dave Branch and Yves Edwards respectively on the preliminary card of last week’s UFC Fight Night 22, while Wallace (9-3) fell to 0-3 in the UFC with a loss to Phil Davis at August’s UFC 117.
