It’s hard to believe 2010 is almost over and 2011 is just a few days away. The weather is extremely cold and we have another storm rolling in. I know if you live on the East coast this rain is nothing compared to your 4 feet of snow that fell overnight.
Anyways, this year has been great. I have always considered myself health, but after I stopped eating meat and animal products then I realized my body could be even better. So that is what I did. It’s been over 6 months since I watched the “EARTHLINGS” documentary and read “The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted And the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, And Long-term Health”. Of course I have gathered even more information since then from other sources. One of the most interesting things that I learned is that most illnesses come from eating animal products. There is a logical and good explanation for this and you can find out for yourself if you are interested.
One interesting fact that I found out is dietary cholesterol comes only from animal products. I listed all the things bad for you below.
In the end, I am happy to have a wonderful wife and excellent health. I hope you have an excellent new year too and thanks again for stopping by.

UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will have to wait to defend the title he won from Brock Lesnar, as he’s expected to be sidelined for six to eight months by an injured shoulder, MMAFighting reports.
UFC President Dana White confirmed the news after Wednesday’s UFC 125 press conference and said Velasquez hopes to return in the summer.
Velasquez scored a first-round TKO of Lesnar at October’s UFC 121 to set up a fight with Junior dos Santos, who will likely wait for Velasquez’s return rather than risk the title shot for a tune-up fight.

One of the most charismatic contestants on last season’s “The Ultimate Fighter” will finally get his shot to compete in the UFC. According to MMAJunkie, Alex Caceres will make his big league debut against Mackens Semerzier at “UFC Fight Night 24” on March 26th.
“Bruce Leroy” was originally set to face fellow castmate Nam Phan at “The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale,” but was injured during training which prevented him from making the appointment.
His injury could be considered a blessing in disguise for Phan, who was rather impressive against fan-favorite Leonard Garcia that evening. Unfortunately for the Vietnamese-American, he was robbed of an obvious decision victory.
Semerzier is currently on the wrong end of a three-fight skid. The WEC transfer will get one last chance to make a lasting impression with his new bosses.
Although Caceres competed at lightweight during his run on TUF 12, his bout with Semerzier will take place at 145-pounds,.
“UFC Fight Night 24″ will be headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between former 205-pound champion Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
The UFC’s March fight cards are filling up quickly, as former WEC contender Shane Roller faces lightweight Thiago Tavares at UFC on Versus 3, undefeated Brazilian lightweight Edson Barzoa takes on WEC vet Anthony Njokuani at UFC 128, and heavyweights Sean McCorkle and Christian Morecraft meet at UFC Fight Night 24, according to MMAjunkie and MMA Fighting.
