The UFC 131 fight card is gradually rounding into shape, with the addition of a lightweight bout between Yves Edwards and Sam Stout; the matchup was confirmed by UFC management late Tuesday night.
UFC 131 is scheduled to take place on June 11 from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Stout, a native of Canada, enters this bout winning three of his last four fights, including a recent split-decision victory over Paul Taylor at UFC 121; prior to that, he suffered a split-decision loss to Jeremy Stephens.
Meanwhile, Edwards has won six of his seven bouts, with his three most recent wins coming against Luis Palomino, John Gunderson and Cody McKenzie.
