UFC Brings Elbows on Ground to Strikeforce, Showtime Deal Extends Through 2014

Following its purchase by the UFC, Strikeforce will adopt identical unified rules, notably including elbows to the head on the ground, but will still use a hexagon cage instead of the UFC’s Octagon, UFC Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta announced during a Monday call.
