The higherups at the UFC paid four fighters very handsomely in terms of the fight night bonuses, which were handed out after UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin.
The four fighters who received bonuses were:
- Brock Lesnar (Submission of the Night)
- Gerald Harris (Knockout of the Night)
- Chris Leben, Yoshihiro Akiyama (Fight of the Night)
- Stephan Bonner, Krzysztof Soszynski (Fight of the Night)
The above four received $75,000 each. According to UFC president Dana White, more bonuses will be handed. Stay tuned.
